President Muhammadu Buhari tendered an apology to Nigerians as his administration came to an end. However, Omoyole Sowore, the AAC's presidential candidate for the general election of 2023, in his reaction to the apology rejected it.



Buhari had pleaded for forgiveness from Nigerians on Friday, especially from those he might have harmed while performing his duty. In response to Buhari's apology, Sowore listed many reasons why the president might never be pardoned in a tweet.





Sowore claimed that the president's unfavorable actions not only damaged Nigeria but also diminished its people. He added that the opportunities that President Buhari crushed will continue to hunt and haunt him. He accused Buhari of depriving Nigerians of the opportunity to live good lives. He added that all and sundry have been negatively affected by the Buhari administration.



He also mentioned that Buhari destroyed businesses, killed innocent people, wrecked the educational system, and denied the sick and elderly the chance to receive medical care. He added that Buhari detained and jailed a lot of people unfairly.



Sowore also in his tweet said Buhari promoted violence where he was unable to engage in it himself. He accused Buhari of slowing discord through racism and religious intolerance. He declared that Buhari, his family, friends, and other cabal members committed incalculable corruption.



These statements are too audacious to be uttered by Sowore to the sitting president. I hope this doesn't land him in trouble. However, he has been a major antagonist of this regime and has always stood strong even in the face of oppression. Do you think he will get away with this?
